PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type secondary battery in which variation or the like in the height of the electrode posts is steadily absorbed by the elasticity of a bus bar sealing part and loading to the electrode posts can be alleviated. SOLUTION: This is a sealed type secondary battery 10 that comprises a secondary battery 12 having a positive and a negative electrode posts 15, 16, a holder 20 that at least holds the upper part of this secondary battery 12 and forms a sealed space inside, a rubber duct that is fitted so as to close the gas extracting port of this holder 20 and exhausts the gas generated inside the battery 12, and a bus bar 50 of which one end 50a side is connected to the electrode post 15 and the other end 50c side protrudes outside of the holder 20.
