PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutting mechanism of a simple constitution capable of arbitrarily varying paper cutting amount (full cut and partial cut). SOLUTION: In this paper cutting mechanism, the paper 3 is mounted on a fixed blade 2 extended in the longitudinal direction, and the paper 3 is held and cut by a round blade 1 moving on the fixing blade 2. By using a stepping motor 11a for a moving mechanism of the round blade 1, the cutting mechanism for realizing the full cut to cut all the cutting parts of the paper 3 and the partial cut to cut a part of the cutting part is provided.
