PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated-winding stator coil for a rotary electric machine wherein the resistance loss of a stator coil is low, contact with a rotor is avoided, and high-density winding that does not interfere with rotor insertion work can be implemented. SOLUTION: The concentrated-winding stator coil comprises a second-layer coil 22 which is constituted by winding a wire in succession on a first-layer coil 21 which has turns disposed in the same layer and advances from bases to tips of teeth. The second-layer coil 22 has turns which begin with a start turn 220 folded back from a last turn 210 of the first-layer coil 21, disposed in the same layer and advances starting from the tips to the bases of the teeth 11. Thus, the start and the end of each tooth coil 2 of the concentrated-winding stator are disposed at the base side of the tooth 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
