PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of obtaining an output of high image quality by correcting the shading data without depending on the variations in the reading element. SOLUTION: When a dust detecting part detects dust, a correction determining part determines whether or not to correct the shading data. In the determination of correction performance, a correlation between data of the shading data RAM and data obtained by excluding a dust detection position at the time of dust detection is checked.
