CAISSON CUTTING-EDGE, CAISSON METHOD AND PAINT COMPOSITION FOR CAISSON CUTTING-EDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the frictional resistance of the surface of a cutting edge in the case of the immersion of a caisson, to reduce the adhesion and fixing of soil on the inside of the cutting edge and to decrease the penetration resistance of the cutting edge. SOLUTION: The cutting edge of the caisson is coated with paints containing a solid lubricant and a silicone surface active agent. A film is composed of a substance in which paints consisting of an epoxy resin, the solid lubricant, the silicone surface active agent and an organic solvent are cured, and it is preferable that a fluoride resin solid lubricant or a graphite solid lubricant is used as the solid lubricant. The fluoride resin solid lubricant at a ratio of 5 to 100 pt.wt. or the graphite solid lubricant at the ratio of 10 to 100 pt.wt. and the silicone surface active agent at the ratio of 1 to 10 pt.wt. are contained to 100 pt.wt. in total of the epoxy resin and a curing agent.
