PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for bending a metal straight pipe at a high speed without generating bellows or flattening. SOLUTION: In the method for successively bending the pipe, a small region in the pipe axial direction of a pipe 13 is heated to a temperature at which plastic deformation is easily performed with an induction coil 35 and the heated region is relatively displaced in the pipe axial direction by advancing the pipe 13, and bent under the action of the bending moment applied to the heated region by revolution of a bending arm 17. In the device, the induction coil 35 is arranged inside the pipe 35 and at the same time, during pipe bending, the outer peripheral surface at the bending inside portion and both sides of the outer peripheral surface at the bending neutral portion in the area, in which bending deformation of the pipe 13 is generated, are regulated with a regulating surface 42 of a shape compensating guide 41 which rotates together with the bending arm 17 so as to prevent the generation of bellows and flattening.
