PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave measuring instrument by which pulse wave is stably measured with precision, and also convenience is enhanced by miniaturization and integration. SOLUTION: The instrument includes: a sensor unit 20 having a semi-conductor pressure sensor 6; a fixing base 30 for fixing the posture of a living body; a pressure cuff 1 for pressing the semi-conductor pressure sensor 6 against the living body; and a pressing means control part 16 for controlling the pressing operation of the pressure cuff 1.
