USE OF SPECIFIC INHIBITORS OF TYROSINE KINASES FOR IMMUNOMODULATION

The invention relates to the use of inhibitors of tyrosine kinases for immunomodulation, i.e. for regulation of the activity of immune cells in patients. The invention more particularly relates to the use of specific inhibitors of tyrosine kinases in the preparation of a composition for preventing or treating viral infections sensitive NK tumors, immune diseases and/or septic shock in mammals. Said inhibitors question are more particularly inhibitors of tyrosine kinases c-abl (bcr/abl), c-kit and /or tyrosine kinase associated with the PDGF receptor. The invention also relates to compositions comprising one such inhibitor, combined with other active agents, i.e. agents which can potentiate the inhibiting effect. The invention can be used in a preventative or curative manner, in vivo ou ex-vivo.
