The notebook is an electronic device having a display (6) indicting the insulin dose for the patient. Correction keys (K) enable the dose to be adjusted according to (B) bodily stress, (U) time zones (a.m.,p.m.) and (I) body temperature. For this purpose a screen (2) is provided with which corrections to a dose may be made with the aid of a keypad (11) and conventional function keys (=) enter, (16) cursor positioning keys,etc. Other corrections, e.g., based on blood pressure at the time off injection can be enter manually.
