The method further comprises the steps of defining (240) a number of partial orders based on a number of the set of events to obtain at least one weight for substantially each test script; and assessing (250) the at least one weight to select (270) an appropriate test script for validating whether a system implementation corresponds to the system specification. In this manner, the process provides an indication as to which tests, from a number of automatically generated tests are the best tests to perform first in validating a system specification. As such, the process identifies the parts of the system implementation that will be most error prone.
