PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for a length compensation part of a universal joint shaft capable of simply be formed and mounted.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the sealing device for the length compensation part of the universal joint shaft. A sealing jacket 11 of pipe shape is provided and a first end of it is securely joined with one of two shaft members 5, 8. A sealing support 16 of jacket shape is correspondingly disposed on a second end 13 of the sealing jacket 11. The sealing support includes at least one sealing lip 18 to face and contact to an outside surface 10 and supports a sealing part 17 securely joined with the sealing support. It also includes a retaining part 19. The retaining part is pushed and inserted from the second end 13 on the sealing jacket 11 and thereby, is securely and tightly joined with the sealing jacket.
