<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily expressing as an image a reflector such as a delineator positioned within a virtual 3D space. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus displays a condition as seen from a certain viewing point in a certain viewing direction within a virtual 3D space in which an object 34 of a motor vehicle and an object 36 of a delineator are positioned. The image processing apparatus includes a lightness determining means for determining lightness about the object 36 of the delineator on the basis of a motor-vehicle position 35 corresponding to the object 34 of the motor vehicle, a reflector position 37 corresponding to the object 36 of the delineator, and a frontal vector 42 corresponding to the attitude of the object 34 of the motor vehicle; and a reflector image display means for displaying a texture image about the object 36 of the delineator at the lightness determined by the lightness determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
