PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emitter having an improved emission intensity and chemical stability, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the emitter is characterized by using an organic acid and a metal salt containing a metal constituting the emitter, and including a dissolution process for dissolving the metal salt and the organic acid in water. Therein, the organic acid is preferably malic acid or citric acid. The metal salt is also preferably a metal nitrate or a metal acetate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
