PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of a high voltage regulator by simply providing a simple outside attaching element out of an IC for an abnormal voltage from a DC power supply having possibility of generating an unexpected abnormal voltage, to reduce the overvoltage resistance of the IC and to facilitate a process design including an overvoltage limiting circuit. SOLUTION: The unexpected abnormal voltage generated in the DC power supply such as an AC adapter, etc. is limited by a voltage limiting block provided in the IC and a resistor provided between the voltage input terminal and the external terminal of the IC, and the application of the voltage of a predetermined value or more to the IC is prevented.
