摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric material for plasma discharge panel that has high coating fluidity at the time of coating the dielectric material and is superior in smoothness and hardly has bubbles in the baked membrane and yet has superior transparency. SOLUTION: The dielectric material for plasma display panel is composed of glass powder and alumina powder having 30 mass% or less, and the alumina powder is spherical and has a particle size distribution of 75% particle diameter D75with 1.5-3.8μm, 50% particle diameter D50with 1.0-2.2μm, and 25% particle diameter D25with 0.6-0.9μm.
