PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatbelt adapter that can be retrofitted to an existing seatbelt and that can improve the fastening/unfastening property of the seatbelt and safety. SOLUTION: This seatbelt adapter includes a flexible strip-shaped supporter 110 that is placed in a manner to be positioned at an abdominal part support belt 200a when a seatbelt 200 is fastened and a flexible grip 120 that is attached to the vicinity of a tang plate 210 close to the end of the supporter 110, and when the seatbelt is not fastened, the grip 120 is projected from the vicinity of the tang plate holding position of a vehicle pillar and held at the seatbelt adapter 100, which allows not only able-bodied people but also elderly people, children and disabled people to use the grip 120 easily.
