PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding person protection device for vehicle capable of improving convenience in a car interior. SOLUTION: When an actuator 32 of an active knee bolster 26 works, a main body 30 of the active knee bolster 26 rotates and moves along a design surface 18A on an instrument panel 18 to the side of a lower leg 28A of a riding person 28 (arrow A direction) from a storage position and moves to a position to constrain the lower leg 28A of the occupant 28. That is, the main body 30 of the active knee bolster 26 is stored below a globe box 24 in the case when the active knee bolster 26 does not work.
