PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image forming equipment having a guide mechanism for feeding in which guide means for guiding the feed of photographic paper are provided on both of the upstream and downstream sides of a roller so that they can be moved forward and backward in the direction of the width of the paper, and the guide means on the upstream side are moved to guiding positions and those on the downstream side to waiting positions according to the feeding direction so as to suppress meandering of the paper in feeding in either direction when the paper is fed by the rotation of the roller. SOLUTION: Guide members 25a, 25b, 26a, 26b are provided on both sides in the feeding direction of the feed roller 16 feeding the photographic paper 1, so that they can be moved forward and backward in the direction of the width of the paper 1. The guide members 25, 26 are positioned, on the occasion of being moved forward, at the guiding positions where they suppress the meandering of the paper 1, while they are positioned, on the occasion of being moved backward, at the waiting positions where the paper 1 does not come into contact therewith even when the paper 1 is deflected. According to the feeding direction of the paper 1, the guide members 25 (26) on the upstream side of the feed roller 16 are moved to the guiding positions and the guide members 26 (25) on the downstream side to the waiting positions.
