PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wearing article capable of improving a wearing feeling. SOLUTION: This invention is related to the method for manufacturing the wearing article. The method comprises a process for supplying an elastic member F, a process for stretching the elastic member F, a process for arranging the stretched elastic member F so as to straddle over a plurality of first webs W1 divided in the conveying direction, a process for forming a slack part Wa by slacking a part of a second web W2 in the conveying direction during conveying the second web W2, a process for arranging respective first webs W1 in which the elastic member F is arranged in a non-slack part in front and rear of the slack part Wa in the second web W2, and a process for cutting the elastic member F between a plurality of the first webs W1 and W1.
