PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting hanging shelf which blocks the sharp lowering of the body of the lifting hanging shelf with a simple mechanism along with very excellent operability. SOLUTION: The lifting hanging shelf has a parallel four-joint link mechanism 3 which enables the switching of the body 1 of the hanging shelf being oscillated centered on the first and second horizontal axes 11 and 12 between the position of pulling it out downward ahead of a fixed frame body 2 and the position of housing it upward behind the frame body . A spring member 4 is so arranged as to generate springing forces about the third axis 13 parallel with the first axis 11 in direct proportion to the degree of deformation and the first and third axes 11 and 13 are interlinked through a rotary torque altering means 5 which changes the rotary torque about the third axis 13 caused by the springing force of the spring member 4 to make the specified torque work about the first axis 11.
