PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein sometimes a person cannot actually speak to someone easily even if the person wishes to greet a pet or a keeper thereof passing by when taking a walk with a pet. SOLUTION: The tool for walking the pet comprises a collar 1 to be attached to the neck of the pet, a handle 2 to be held by the hand of a keeper, and a string 3 connecting the collar and the handle. A speaker 4 is attached to the collar 1, and a sound reproducer 31 and a switch 7 at hand for operating the reproducer 31 are mounted on the handle 2. A wire 8 for connecting the speaker and the sound reproducer is installed in the string. A peaceful atmosphere can be created by sounding a greeting language of human beings, an amiable cry of the pet or the like to a pet or a person coming and going while walking the pet to make the walking of the pet more pleasant.
