The turbomachine has a guide grid with variable blades (1) allowing the flow angle of the flow medium and the mass flowrate through the turbine wheel to be controlled, the rear edges (5) of the individual blades moved relative to the blade front edges (4) upon alignment of the latter in the flow direction (10). The blades have internal ribs transverse to the blade longitudinal axis, attached to the opposing side surfaces of the blade in alternation, with variation of the relative spacings of the ribs via expandible chambers.
