The connection knot interconnects two hollow sections (1,2) of a frame structure. The connection knot has a cathedral-like bulge that has a hat-shaped portion (3). The hat-shaped portion has a ring flange formed at its circumferential edge, and a hole provided at the locking wall between the hollow sections. The ring flange and boundary region (4) of the hole deform when fastened together. An independent claim is included for the connection knot manufacture.
