MULTI-CARRIER COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND RECEPTION DEVICE THEREOF

A multi-carrier communication system transmitting/receiving a signal via at least four sub-channels. The system includes a transmission device for transmitting data independently via the four sub-channels, a reception device having a reception unit provided for each sub-channel for receiving data from a corresponding sub-channel and performing soft decision of the received data, and means for inputting values to be subjected to soft decision in reception units of the three sub-channels excluding the target sub-channel to a reception unit of the target sub-channel. The reception unit of the target sub-channel uses the values to be subjected to soft decision input from the reception units of the other sub-channels so as to adjust its value to be subjected to soft decision and judge the reception data according to the value to be subjected to soft decision.
