摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which effectively shares the printing process in the condition that a plurality of image forming apparatus are connected. <P>SOLUTION: Any one of a plurality of image forming apparatuses is taken for a master unit to transfer read image data to a plurality of other apparatuses to be slave units. A connection I/F driver is provided for sharing the printing with the master and slave units as a joint job to process in parallel. When the master unit starts a copy operation, a read operation is executed in 1 and a printing operation starts in 2. The slave unit is executing a previous job in the reference numeral 4 and hence a slave unit job being a connected operation turns to a reserved job to result in that the actual operation is executed after completion of the previous job. When the previous job ends in the numeral 4, it turns to the execution sequence of connected slave unit jobs and hence an operation in the numeral 3 is made to transfer a read image by the master unit. A printing image at the slave unit is printable immediately after preparing it and hence a printing process in the numeral 5 is executed.
