MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PASTE TYPE POSITIVE ELECTRODE PLATE FOR LEAD-ACID BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a paste type positive electrode plate for a lead-acid battery capable of suppressing the reduction in bonding force among active material particles due to volume expansion during chemical conversion.

SOLUTION: A paste containing red lead of 5-30 mass% in lead powder consisting of lead and a lead oxide is used. The red lead having mean particle diameter of not larger than 10 μm and not smaller than the formable minimum particle diameter is used. The red lead is previously kneaded with a diluted sulfuric acid before kneading the lead powder with the red lead.
