<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the printing time from becoming long when the last printed number of total pages is an odd number of pages in both sides printing. <P>SOLUTION: Transfer paper P fed from a paper feeding tray 41 or 42 has a toner image on a photoreceptor drum 11 of an image forming part 1 transferred at a transferring device 16 and fixed at a fixing device 17. In a one-side printing, the paper is ejected to a paper ejecting part 24 by a paper ejecting roll 19. In both side printing, the transfer paper with the even number pages printed on the first surface has the printing surface reversed at a reverse paper feeding part 3. The odd number of pages are printed to a second surface at the image forming part 1 and the paper is ejected to the paper ejecting part 24 by the paper ejecting roll 19. A CPU of main controller, not shown, decides whether the printed final page is an odd numbered page or an even numbered page and when it it the odd numbered page, the odd numbered page is printed on the first surface and the paper is ejected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
