<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately manage the state in which a reservation commodity, whose commodity code is no yet fixed, is reserved and efficiently sell the commodity on the reservation basis. <P>SOLUTION: When a reservation commodity code is read from a POS terminal 3, a reservation code is assigned by a headquarters server 2, and the reservation code of a reservation data file, the reservation commodity code, an amount of up-front payment and so on are updated, and then a reservation ticket to which these data are recorded is printed to issue. When the commodity arrives in stock, the commodity code which a maker designates is inputted to a commodity master file from the headquarter server 2, and the conversion code of a reservation commodity master file is set. When the commodity is delivered, the reservation commodity code of the reservation data file is read out based on the reservation code, and the corresponding conversion code of the reservation master file is read from the reservation commodity code thus read. Then, the commodity master file is retrieved to index the commodity name and price for the commodity code, and the sales volume of the reservation commodity is calculated to issue a receipt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
