METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING OIL FROM INSIDE OF VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for removing an adherent oil from the inside of a vessel. SOLUTION: The method comprises feeding a liquid or vaporous solvent which dissolves an oil into the inside of a vessel (1) to be cleaned and evacuating the vessel (1) while the vessel (1) is in the state in which the oil inside the vessel (1) is in contact with the solvent. The apparatus is provided with an evacuator (106) communicably or isolably connected to the vessel (1) and a solvent feeder (107) which feeds a solvent which dissolves oil adhering to the inside wall of the vessel (1).
