PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure riding comfort of a conveyor device by effectively inhibiting the irregularity of speed of step rollers and to make the whole device thin. SOLUTION: While a height position H of a horizontal plane of a step guide rail 3 (a rail main body 3a) is set at a position obtained by adding only a predetermined offset amountδwith respect to a contact line L of a driving sprocket 9, curved parts 13 are provided at an end portion of a driving sprocket 9 introducing side of the step guide rail 3. At a basic position closest to the driving sprocket 9, the step guide rail 3 is switched from a horizontal plane to the curved parts 13. Accordingly, the irregularity of speed of the step rollers approaching to the driving sprocket 9 is absorbed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
