PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel dynamic distortion added to a component receiving the load in the most effective way without reducing the braking force of a brake, and to completely and surely open a brake at all times. SOLUTION: In this torque control type brake mounted between a driving shaft and a driven shaft, the brake includes a brake disc/clutch disc structure, and the structure has a first disc 9 and a second disc 10 mounted between the driving shaft and the driven shaft. The brake further includes a first set of frictional face means 12 and a second set of frictional face means 14 interlocking with the brake disc/clutch disc structure, spring structures 15, 16 achieving the braking engagement by the disc structure and the frictional face means, and first and second cam parts.
