PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a replacing work of a printing plate in a platen apparatus for a flat stand type printing machine. SOLUTION: A load borne by an adjusting mechanism for elevating/lowering is reduced to be capable of easily adjusting the height by providing an elastic body on the lower part of the platen apparatus of the flat stand type printing machine and supporting the platen thereby. In addition, by providing an elastic body and an air cylinder on a printing plate fixing device to grip the printing plate, the printing plate can be fixed by a definite pinching force and the replacing work can be performed in a short time to improve working efficiency and producing efficiency.
