PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a can with screw with which the filling efficiency of contents can be improved. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the can with the screw, with which a cap 26 composed of a metal-made shell hanging down a skirt part 27 from the peripheral edge of a top cover plate part 33, is fitted to a top-neck part 23 in a metal-made vessel having a curl part 35 at the opening end portion as the opening part and a female screw is formed on the skirt part 27 matched with a male screw 36 on a vessel opening part with a roll-on formation, the above vessel is a welded can body made of a resin coated metallic plate coated with a thermoplastic resin film. The cap 26 having smaller outer diameter at the skirt part 27 in the range of 5-15% to the outer diameter of the can barrel part, is fitted to the top-neck part 23 of the vessel, and thereafter, the top cover plate part 33 is directed downward and the vessel is reversely put and conveyed and the contents are filled into the vessel from a bottom cover wind-fastening side and the dish-like bottom cover 22 is seamed and fixed to the opening end part of the can barrel part .
