PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a border carpet having good appearance in a frame part and providing good foot tough feeling. SOLUTION: The border carpet 1 is formed by decorating a periphery part of a carpet body 10 with the frame part 20. In an inner hem of the frame part 20, border fabrics 21, 22, 23 and 24 corresponding to each side are sewn to a front face 10a of the carpet body 10 by inserting a margin to sew up into the carpet body 10. In corner parts, adjacent border fabrics (21 and 22), (22 and 23), (23 and 24) and (24 and 21) are joined together by halving an angle of each corner part. A continued fitting part 30 is provided on an outer hem part of the frame part 20. The fitting part 30 is formed by extending each of the border fabrics 21, 22, 23 and 24 outward from the side, and joining each extended part of the adjacent border fabrics (21 and 22), (22 and 23), (23 and 24) and (24 and 21) by halving an angle corresponding to the corner part of the frame part 20.
