A radar-controlled recognition system for a wind power unit comprises an air space monitoring in the region of the wind power unit or wind farm by means of a radar system. An independent claim is also included for a system as above in which the radar automatically signals the approach of the airplane to the power unit when a control system automatically switches on the warning system.
