The invention provides an implantable soft-tissue prosthesis, comprising: a hollow shell formed of a flexible elastomeric polymer, the prosthesis being adapted to be surgically implanted and to retain a desired shape when filled with a filing material; and a filling material comprising a gel or viscous liquid comprising hyaluronic acid, wherein the filling material has an osmolarity between 200 and 400 mOsm/kg and a radiation penetration equal to or better than 0.9% saline.
