PURPOSE: A circuit arrangement and a method are provided to reduce labor for setting color and luminance of an illumination device. CONSTITUTION: A circuit arrangement comprises a connection device(S) for a first light source group(G1) and a second light source group(G2); a first power supply unit(CON,PWM1) and a second power supply unit(CON,PWM2); and a first setting unit(E1) and a second setting unit(E2), wherein the second setting unit is used for setting only the output of the second power supply unit. The first setting unit includes a first potentiometer and a second potentiometer which are coupled with each other. The output of the first power supply is set by using the first potentiometer, and the output of the second power supply is set by using the second potentiometer. The second setting unit includes a potentiometer connected in parallel to the second potentiometer of the first setting unit.
