PURPOSE: A noble alloy capable of reducing manufacturing cost by reducing quantity of expensive tin added to high strength phosphor bronze for spring and improving productivity and physical properties of the phosphor bronze itself at the same time by improving formability of ingot, a manufacturing method of the alloy are provided. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing of phosphor bronze for high strength spring, the Cu-Sn-P-Ce-La based phosphor bronze alloy for high strength spring comprises 5.0 to 9.0 wt.% of tin (Sn), 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of phosphorus (P), 0.001 to 0.1 wt.% of cerium (Ce), 0.001 to 0.1 wt.% of lanthanum and a balance of copper (Cu), wherein cerium and lanthanum are added to the alloy in an addition ratio of 2:1.
