PURPOSE: An electric containment door mirror and an electric containment unit of an electric containment door mirror are provided to improve productivity by enhancing the size precision between a shaft and an output shaft of a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric containment door mirror comprises a mirror base, an electric containment unit(3) and a mirror assembly. The electric containment unit comprises a shaft holder(30) fixed on the mirror base and having a shaft(301), a gear case(31) and a plate(32) rotatably attached to the shaft, a motor(35) attached to the plate, and a power transmission mechanism for transmitting power to the shaft. The plate comprises a planar part, an axial support part(321), a motor attachment part(322), and a flexible part for making relative movement of the axial support part and the motor attachment part possible.
