<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a lithographic printing plate capable of obtaining an exposed image with a good contrast without passing it through a developing process and handling in a bright room. <P>SOLUTION: In a heat-sensitive material for a lithographic printing plate comprising a hydrophilic layer and a lipophilic image forming layer comprising a heat melting fine particle on a substrate in this order, both or either a hydrophilic layer and/or the lipophilic image forming layer comprise a trihalomethyl compound capable of generating a halogen radical, a halogen atom or a halogen ion by heat, a compound capable of discoloring with the generated halogen radical, halogen atom or halogen ion, and a photo-thermal converting agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
