<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of enhancing the assemblability in mounting of a pointing device on a casing. <P>SOLUTION: The casing 10 having an outer wall 10c contains the pointing device 17 with a flat input surface 18a being laid on the inner surface 10b of the casing 10. The outer wall 10c of the casing 10 has an operation area 30 for input operation in a position corresponding to the input surface 18a of the device 17 of the outer surface 10a exposed out of the casing 10. According to such a structure, since the device 17 can be housed in the casing 10 in the state where the input surface 18a is laid on the inner surface 10b of the casing 10, the assemblability can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
