<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, method, and an apparatus for processing an image, which increases a speed for drawing a picture and represents neutral tints on the picture by using a printer with a low gradient without requiring a large memory region in a gradient fill drawing. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for processing the image provides a data for colors and coordinates to each vertex of a drawing, and controls a change of the colors by obtaining a mesh, which is a unit for the color change and interpolating the colors in both horizontal and vertical directions.
