摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential gear capable of achieving favorable driving performance without complicating structure. <P>SOLUTION: A ring gear member 6 is two-parted to an input side ring gear member 6a and an output side ring gear member 6b. The input side ring gear member 6a is engaged with a planetary pinion 11a, and the output side ring gear member 6b is connected through a multi-disc clutch 10 to a sun gear shaft 5. Between both members 6a and 6b, a dog 15 is provided. To mutually engaged cam surfaces 13a and 14a of the dog 15, torque generated by resistance in running is added. As pressure TS applied in an axial direction is generated, the output side ring gear member 6b is fastened through a front side pressure plate 6d to the multi-disc clutch 10 to limit differential between front and rear wheels. As an electronic control type differential limiting device 31 is actuated as slip or the like is detected at one wheel, the multi-disc clutch 10 is fastened through a rear side pressure plate 30 to limit differential between the front and rear wheels.
