PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the most suitable images displayed on a plurality of display devices respectively at a low cost. SOLUTION: When displaying images only on an EVF (electronic view finder) 417, a microcomputer 461 supplies data 491 for display control, with display characteristics of the EVF 417 taken into consideration, to an AFC (automatic frequency control) circuit 511, an APC (automatic phase control) circuit 512, a color gain control part 513, and aγcorrection circuit 516 and causes an RGB (red green blue system) driver 531 to supply image signals to only the EVF 417 and causes a timing generator 532 to light only a back light 554. When displaying images only on a display device 418, the microcomputer 461 supplies data 491 for display control, with display characteristics of the display device 418 taken into consideration, to each part of an LCD signal processing part 446 and instructs an LCD driving circuit 447 to drive only the display device 418.
