PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the whole charging stand compact in size, to allow a portable apparatus to be mounted and demounted easily, and to charge a secondary battery housed in the portable apparatus with reliability. SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 1 housing the secondary battery is attached to the charging stand in a tilting position, and a charging terminal 13 is connected to a power terminal 12 of the apparatus 1 to charge the secondary battery housed in the apparatus 1. The charging stand comprises: a case 2 which has an attachment recessed portion 3 on the top surface so that the apparatus 1 can be mounted and demounted; and a supporting member which is connected to the case 2 and supports the attached apparatus 1.
