PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for display element in a flat liquid crystal display of high resolution that is not lowered in the inspection accuracy and, in addition, the inspection speed for the display element of a flat liquid crystal display is not lowered at the time of inspecting the display element by using a CCD camera having a relatively low resolution. SOLUTION: In this inspection device, a plurality of CCD cameras which pick up the image of the display element of one flat liquid crystal display are set so that their inspection areas may adjoin each other.
