PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting structure for a fuel filter that can extend the degree of freedom for a head lamp and reduce a front over-hang and prevent a fuel filter from breaking if an engine or a transmission moves rearward because a load is applied to a left or right side in the front of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: A fuel filter 15 is placed more rearward of the vehicle body than a transmission 13 of a front side member 11, an air cleaner 20 or a battery 21 is placed on more rearward of the vehicle body than the strut housing 18 within an engine room 10 and close to a dash panel 19, and the battery 21 or the air cleaner 20 is placed on more front of the vehicle than the other one respectively, and there is provided fixing means 16 of the fuel filter 15 having the weaker strength than that of the fuel filter 15.
