<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device of a folding type in which the integrity of a flexible wiring board as well as of circuit boards can be maintained, by enhancing the durability of the flexible wiring board within a hinge section, and in which a wire, such as an antenna wire, is passed through the hinge. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal device is constituted such that two housings 2a, 2b, in which circuit boards 15a, 15b are respectively housed are rotatably connected by a hinge section 4, wherein the circuit boards 15a, 15b within the two housings 2a, 2b are mutually connected electrically by a flexible wiring board 22, which is so arranged as to passes through a cavity formed in the hinge section 4. The portable terminal device is characterised in that the flexible wiring board 22 is bent in the cavity, and a cylindrical elastic member 23, having a penetration hole 24 extending longitudinally is arranged inside the twisted flexible wiring board 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
