<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data tag capable of easily and rapidly performing collation of an optical connector to be attached/detached. <P>SOLUTION: This data tag has a recording part 15 mountable on an optical connector housing 2 for inserting an optical connector plug 1 and recording information related to the optical connector plug 1 and/or the optical housing 2 such as line information. The recording part 15 uses an optical connector data tab 10 formed readably in a state where the optical connector plug 1 is inserted and connected to the optical connector housing 2. This data tag 10 has an installation part 11 to be installed on the optical connector housing 2 to enclose it from the outside.
