PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting and adjusting contact pressure between two components transmitting the frictional engagement torque in order to cope with the necessity as correctly as possible on a case-by-case basis. SOLUTION: The contact pressure is determined on the basis of at least one prior control value and the quantity of adjustment depending on the output of a controller. Here, the prior control value is determined on the basis of a value of at least one operation parameter of a driving system, and the output of the controller is determined on the basis of the comparison of an actual value and a target value of the operation parameter.
